Tommy’s Sidekick is a compact 3:1 rigging kit designed for use with two Tommy Blocks.

When folded into quarters, the 5/16″ × 6″ TuFFX Xtreme Extension rigs around the anchoring 5/16″ × 7″ TuFFX Xtreme Soft Shackle (front and back) to create balanced rigging and effectively form a synthetic becket. This setup enables a 3:1 mechanical advantage using two Tommy Blocks while requiring only one appropriately rated attachment point.

Designed around 5/16″ rope, the system remains compact and, when rigged properly, maintains a working load limit consistent with the Tommy Block WLL of 13,100 lb, resulting in a WLL of 4,366 lb per line (13,100 lb ÷ 3).
